Sr. Associate Scientist - Manufacturing Sciences

About This Role

This role works independently to strategically provide raw material analytical support for operations at our two Research Triangle Park, NC facilities, as well as supporting global functions. Included in the responsibilities are development and qualification of new methods as needed and transfer of methods to other groups, including QC Raw Materials. The individual is responsible for being a subject matter expert in ICP-MS, and/or HPLC/UPLC and is charged with providing expertise on those instruments, developing/troubleshooting methods as needed, and execution of monthly test plan and investigational samples.

What You’ll Do

• Act as strategic analytical contact for RTP Bio and RTP Pharma operations, as well as supporting global functions. Strategic contact includes independently communicating with key stakeholders, understanding raw material and analytical needs, development and qualification of relevant methods, and strategic prioritization
