Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Technical Solutions to lead our IAM client architecture initiatives and assist with pre-sales activities. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in IAM technologies, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in designing and implementing complex IAM solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can engage with clients, understand their business needs, and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Work in partnership with the IDMWORKS sales organization to assist in the technical discovery and solution development for prospective clients

Act as a Liaison between IDMWORKS Sales and Practice Leadership teams

Engage in requirements gathering, analyze business processes, and provide recommendations and proposed solutions to clients

Participate in technology assessments and workshops to uncover new opportunities for IDMWORKS

Lead RFP responses

Execute client Proposal and SOW documents

Participate in the creation and improvement of new/existing IDMWORKS thought leadership

Develop programmatic architecture and solution design across multiple IAM technologies and functional areas to address prospective client’s challenges

Remain current on IAM and IAM market trends, tools, methodologies, and best practices

Participate in and/or deliver Customer facing presales workshops and paid assessments

General Business Responsibilities:

Communicate status including timely reporting and escalation of issues and risks

Possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Ability to work in a team settings and multi-task environment

Author technical and sales documentation

Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements and Qualifications

Experience:

10-15 years of experience in IAM, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Proven experience in designing and implementing IAM solutions, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and identity governance.

Strong pre-sales experience, with the ability to engage clients and articulate technical solutions.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Deep knowledge of IAM products and technologies, such as SailPoint, Ping Identity, Cyberark and others.

Extensive architect and engineer and experience with the following IAM components:

Identity Governance Administration

Privileged Access Management

Consumer Identity and Access Management

A proven track record of developing and presenting at large industry conferences

Knowledge Requirements:

Knowledge of Access Management

Knowledge of SSO/Federation

Knowledge of enterprise directories (LDAP, Active Directory, etc.)

Familiarity of enterprise systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, ServiceNow)

Experience setting up and installing software on Windows and Unix platforms

Familiarity with Role Based Access Control (RBAC)

Familiarity with security/compliance standards, frameworks, and concepts (NIST, SOX, GDPR, Zero trust, etc.)

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an IT-related field or Experience in a related Position

IAM Technology-specific training/certification a plus

Professional certifications in IAM (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP, Certified Identity and Access Manager - CIAM) are a plus.
