Bluecurrent (formerly Vector Metering) is a leading provider of innovative smart metering services and solutions in New Zealand and Australia. As a B2B company, we partner with leading energy retailers and distributors in New Zealand and Australia.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join the new joint venture company Bluecurrent. As a Business Analyst, you will play an integral role in the efficient and effective operation of Bluecurrent, contributing to the delivery of metering projects and helping to add business value.

Key responsibilities include:

• Elicit, capture and validate requirements provided by internal and external stakeholders.
• Support Project Initiation by clarifying project scope, defining problem statements, identifying key stakeholders and outlining business objectives alongside the Business Owner.
• Perform business process modelling, designing, reengineering and improvement.
• Conduct current state and target state analysis, and determine the activities required to move to target state.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications such as user stories and use cases.
