We are currently looking for a Salesforce Solutions Architect to join our team onsite in Franklin, TN or Dallas, TX or Detroit, MI (Hybrid).

As a Salesforce Solution Architect, you will be part of a team that is driving change and a new way of working to bring B2B2C commerce capabilities and revenue opportunities to Nissan. This role will lead and drive platform solutions which will support multiple sales channels such as our Nissan Energy Network EV Charging, Telematics Services Subscriptions, SignatureFLEX Lease Milage purchases and more. Your goal will be to deliver out of the box solutions aligned to our strategy of Regionalization and Simplicity working with key business stakeholders and alongside a team of Analysts, Project Managers and strategic partners to deliver world-class business technology solutions that deliver real value, deliver based on desired outcomes and support new business strategies that will drive the new Nissan.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act Independently and have the ability to quickly and positively adapt to change. Able to manage and prioritize complex workloads across multiple workstreams.
  • Deliver solutions and capabilities within the Salesforce Commerce Platform including Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Payments, Order Management, Revenue Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Automotive Cloud for Customer Service.
  • Use business insight and comprehension to understand business objectives and desired outcomes, create relevant alternative solutions that can be evaluated for best fit and alignment to those outcomes and deliver those capabilities that help Nissan meet its target state and long-term value proposition.
  • Establish strong relationships with business leaders, Subject Matter Experts, IT leaders and technology experts with extremely strong verbal and written communication skills appropriate for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Promotes and builds a culture amongst engineering, architectural and platform teams that fosters an ownership mentality.
  • Educates other business units that implement platform architectures based on best practices.
  • Periodic presentation to regional IS/IT and Business leadership.
  • Provides hands-on technical coaching to accelerate relevant platform learning across the organization and/or business area.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
  • Drive and facilitate backlog and grooming sessions, collaborating with peers to develop technology design patterns and integrations between Salesforce Platform and other Nissan Technology Assets.
  • Reinforce a One Team and Regional approach working across lines of business domains and affiliates within the Region, building confidence in trust and solution development.

Job Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit comfortable developing relationships in a large organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to observe trends, able to actively make recommendations based on partial data.
  • Intermediate understanding of the commerce B2B2C industry sector in which the business is operating with a basic understanding of how competitors differentiate themselves as well as a limited understanding of latest developments or changes of market conditions in the industry sector.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interactive (online) communication skills, Ability to demonstrate concepts visually and in writing in a way that enables stakeholders to decide with confidence.
  • An avid learner who researches new platform technologies and has interest in pursuing certifications in those disciplines.
  • Identifies dependencies & common infrastructure platform components and assesses platform migration and/or enhancement feasibility.
  • Experience with Agile / SCRUM project management methodologies.
  • Practical experience working with delivery and development vendors.
  • Advanced in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Years of Experience:

10 Years of overall IS/IT/Digital experience with at least 7 years’ experience in a leading role delivering Salesforce Projects. Salesforce Commerce delivery experience preferred.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience

Specific Course/Certifications:

Salesforce Certification(s) preferred: Salesforce Administration; Platform App Builder; Salesforce Designer; Salesforce Architecture. The desire to become certified in applicable solutions.

Travel Required:

Up-to 15% travel may be required
