Cloud Platform Engineer

As a member of the Cloud Platform team, you will be supporting and contributing to our enterprise-wide cloud infrastructure to support the growth and scalability of our platform. Automation is key to everything we do on the Cloud Platform team, so we highly value strong coding skills and an automation-first approach.

With this position we offer:
Join the Cloud Platform and Solutions Engineering organization for Nasdaq. The main objective for the engineering team in Bangalore is to build state of the art cloud platform for internal customers. As our new member, you will work with a group of enthusiastic and experienced team members. Together with your team, you will be responsible for delivery of enhancements, support and maintenance of the Nasdaq cloud platform.

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a strong experienced team delivering complex technology solutions to international clients. You will work with and learn from subject matter experts, and have the opportunity to take on more responsibilities. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

• Maintain and manage cloud infrastructure to support the growth and scalability of our platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud solutions
• Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing

We expect you to have experience with

• 2+yrear of experience in Cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
• Scripting languages such as bash, Python or PowerShell.
• Education Qualification: Bachelor/Master in computer science or equivalent.
• Language Qualification: You will be speaking on a daily basis with colleagues all over the world. We require fluency in English and excellent communication skills

You should have

• A learning mindset
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

It would be great if you have

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with YAML
• Experience with automated deployment pipelines
