Job Title: Lead Data Science Analyst(multiple openings)

Job Location: Riverwoods, IL

Job Type: Full Time

Duties: Leads the development and implementation of advanced analytics including customer segmentation, optimization, prescriptive analytics and machine learning algorithm & recommendation to solve business problems. Operates as a subject matter expert on statistical analysis, test and design of experiment, analysis methodology, modeling & application, and financial impact analysis. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Information Management, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Analyst-related occupation. Alternatively, employer with accept a Master’s degree in Analytics, Information Management, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an Analyst-related occupation.

Position required skills: Position requires 4 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of experience with a Master’s degree in the following skills: developing business critical reporting and analysis using SQL and data platforms, including Teradata or Snowflake and maintenance of developed code using version control tools such as GitHub; performing and documenting quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify and improve business opportunities; using SQL or visualization tools, including Tableau and Python to share customized insights with business and analytics partners; evaluating and improving business operations management, including the controls around key regulatory and compliance risk areas, using statistical concepts and data aggregation techniques; and designing and building business analytics, dashboards, reports, and critical risk management controls to manage risk exposure, and using SQL or visualization tools, including Tableau and Python for data analytics and reporting. Building and analyzing data pipelines using data warehousing concepts using SQL in Snowflake or Teradata; tracing data flow from source to target to review functional or technical documentation of data warehouses for assessment of data quality using data cataloging tools including Alation; Analytics techniques including machine learning, text mining, sentiment analysis using languages including Python, R or analytical tools including SAS or H2O.

Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program

Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $116,334 to $146,100. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
