About the Role

As a Java/Kotlin Engineer you will:

• Build shared services and platform components for analytic applications, using Kotlin & Java
• Create JAX-RS / Spring MVC REST resources
• Own your code quality and test with junit and assertj
• Work with “Big Data”
• Share your experience with others, learn more and continue develop your skills

Team & Product:

We are a growing team of 100+ software engineers, data scientists and analysts located in the beautiful Prague city center

We are collaborating closely with Workday teams in Silicon Valley and few other locations across Europe and North America

Our proprietary “Storyteller” software is the foundation of Workday’s Augmented Analytics platform

The platform delivers automated analysis of People, Finance and any structured data to business users without a need for a human analyst

Analysis is presented to users as narrative stories expressed in natural language

About You

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 3 years experience with either Kotlin or Java
• Profound understanding of Object Oriented programming
• Experience with code profiling and performance tuning
• Solid understanding of Software Engineering principles and best practices
• Ability to deliver on time in a fast-paced agile environment

Other Qualifications:

• Experience with Scala
• Experience creating APIs (REST and/or GraphQL)
