Engineering Specialist

Job Description

An amazing opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Specialist. This role will play a vital role in the efficient operations of the site ensuring high availability and reliability of critical systems. The role will involve using computerised systems and other data to make decisions, with teams across the site with a Safety First, Quality Always position. The role will require shift work. The role reports to Associate Director Engineering.

What you will do:

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following:

• Monitoring performance of all critical safety and utilities systems to ensure that they performing to site requirements, work with Process Team Management, Service Providers on troubleshooting, escalation and resolution of issues.
• Document performance in shift reports ensure information is transferred from shift to shift.
• Work with Site Planners on Integrated Site Plan for planned outages and maintenance activities.
• Manage and provide assistance to service providers to ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
• Co-ordinate and approve permits in all non-process areas ensure safety procedures are adhered to.
