Staff Process Engineer

The Staff Process Engineer is the subject matter expert (SME) for machining in orthopedic implants. You will implement manufacturing CNC projects across the value streams, with a focus on process transformation, new product launch, and improving current machining processes for existing products.

What will you be doing?

• Identify, evaluate, and implement technologies and tools for CNC machining that enable better FPY, reduce scrap and improve output.
• Collaborate with External suppliers (machine manufacturers) and Internal suppliers (multi-functional teams) to design processes for machining new products, improving existing processes, and work on ground-breaking changes.
• Design and/or support manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.
• Lead multiple CNC project integrations at the manufacturing site with the emphasis to meet manufacturing requirements of cost, quality and timeline.
