Senior Software Engineer

About The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in front-end development with a strong emphasis on JavaScript technologies like Angular, React, of Vue.JS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance front-end user interfaces in a distributed cloud environment. This role requires a deep understanding of software engineering principles, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with members of the product, engineering, executive, and operations departments.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and implement user-facing features end-to-end
• Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to prototype and implement product features
• Communicate effectively with other engineers, product managers, customers, and partners in a cross-functional team

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on frontend user interface development
• Expertise with frontend technologies such as Angular, React, or Vue.js
• Extensive experience with HTML/CSS
• Experience with responsive design, web standards, and UI/UX best practices
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• experience with JavaScript and basic JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Bootstrap)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field

Pluses:

• Experience with Dotnet Core and other Microsoft technologies (e.g., ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server).
• Experience with SASS or LESS
• Experience with Package managers like NPM, Bower, and Yam
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in RESTful API web services, design and development.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in our Playa Vista, California location is $125,000 to $140,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience applicable to the role and within the industry, education, geographic location, etc. Commercial Real Estate Exchange, Inc (“Crexi”) is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
