About the Position:

Main Responsibilities:

• Take care of tax related issues for APAC region (ex-Greater China), i.e. AU, NZ, SG, JP, TH, MY, KR, ID, etc.
• Identify the tax planning opportunities and assist with the implementation of various tax plans.
• Provide tax analysis and advices to support business, streamline business operation.
• Ensure tax control policies and processes in place to mitigate tax risk exposures of the company.
• Assist with preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provision for the tax reporting.
• Coordinate the external and internal resources to manage transfer pricing risk.
• Maintain routine tax duty, including Business Activity Statement, Corporate Income tax, FBT, etc. Ensure the accuracy and timely submission of tax filing data to tax authorities.
• Be proactive team player and have flexible attitude as the team further expands to take on additional roles and responsibilities.

Qualification Required:

Skills required:

• Bachelor or above, major in Finance/Accounting/Tax, or equivalent.
• Minimum 8+ years’ working experience in tax function, preferably someone with similar exposure in pharmaceutical industry, experience in big 4 would be highly preferred.
• Proven problem-solving capabilities including creativity and analytical skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, Mandarin is a plus.
• Based in Australia
