Assistant Director

To promote the work of the PA and the Grassroots Movement by developing and implementing integrated communications plans, expanding PA’s communications network to enhance the delivery of audience-specific narratives, and anticipating and managing potential issues.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in strategic messaging including developing strong narratives and on-ground deployment of communications efforts
• Plan, develop and deploy PA narratives and project communications in synch with whole of government messaging priorities and efforts
• Assist to develop and implement communications strategies for PA and grassroots programmes
• Monitor and analyse mainstream media news and online space to anticipate issues which may affect PA’s reputation and recommend appropriate responses.
• Partner PA Divisions, Grassroots Organisations, community partners, government agencies and non-government agencies on communications efforts and seek out opportunities to profile PA, our programmes and our volunteers.

• Develop content for channels and maintain databases of channels.
