Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer will be focused on conducting root cause failure analysis, identification of corrective actions, and implementation of process improvements. The role will be assigned to support these activities as well as a variety of production support projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Develops and implements production methods.
• Recommends and implements improvements in the production process.
• Works under close supervision of senior level engineers.
• Provides product support, manufacturing support, and failure analysis.
• May design special tooling and fixtures for field, manufacturing, and engineering use.
• Receives specifications and design constraints from team leader.
• Handles special projects, as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of relevant experience)

Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant technical level experience

• Knowledge of general principles, concepts, theories, and practices of applicable discipline.
• AutoCad and Solidworks experience
• Lean and/or 6 Sigma
