We are looking for a Cloud Architect to support the IRS IT Applications Development (AD) Data Delivery Services (DDS) organization’s data modernization efforts, transitioning on-prem data and business intelligence (BI) processing to a new cloud-based platform called the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP). This project will involve analyzing the current BI portfolio and creating a release plan that establishes what legacy functionality needs to be reengineered, rebuilt, and incrementally operationalized onto the new platform, and completing a Proof of Concept to determine the solution approach for migrating and refactoring their data.
You will be responsible for overseeing architecture and deployment in cloud platform environments, which could include adoption plans, application design, and management and monitoring. You will ensure cloud-based solutions and infrastructure aligns with both business objectives and needs and conduct rigorous system testing and troubleshooting to optimize the performance of solutions. Additionally, you will advise and assist the development teams as the client transitions from AWS PaaS managed services to T-Cloud.
