Senior Frontend Developer

At Hive, we are dedicated to creating moments that matter by connecting event marketers to their biggest fans. We are looking to add a Senior Frontend Engineer to work on our Product Pod to develop impactful solutions that strengthen the connection between artists, shows, and their fanbase. The Hive team plays a unique role of driving engagement and enhancing the overall experience for both marketers and fans.

What You’ll Do

• Build!
• Shape and lead the building of performant, beautiful, and usable interfaces
• Collaborate on our technical vision. Lead discussions and implementation of multiple complex projects
• Continuously improve our engineering processes, tools, and systems that allow us to scale the code base, productivity, and the team
• Inspire and mentor less experienced engineers and interns

What You'll Need

• Minimum of 5 years of frontend engineering experience
• Proficiency in React/Typescript and their core principles
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft
• Track record of shipping high-quality products and developing projects at scale
• Ability to turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions
• Experience creating design system component libraries with tools such as Storybook

Technologies we use & teach

• Frontend: React, Typescript, Material UI, React Query
• Backend: Python, Django
• Databases: Redis, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Clickhouse, KeyDB
• Infra: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with these is a plus, but we know smart people are quick learners!
