The Psychology Department at Northeastern University Oakland Campus ([https://oakland.northeastern.edu>) invites applications for a Full-time Non-tenured Track Assistant Teaching Professor position to start Fall 2024. This is a one-year appointment, which can be renewable.

Responsibilities:

The selected individual will have two main sets of responsibilities. The first set of responsibilities is to teach undergraduate courses offered by the Psychology Department. The number of courses to be taught each year, and the topic areas of the courses will be determined by the department chair, taking into account the individual’s area of expertise and departmental need. The second set of responsibilities is to provide support for all aspects of the undergraduate program, working closely with the department’s Head Advisor and Director of Undergraduate Studies. Specific activities will include, for example, advising students, providing administrative support for registration and course approval processes, and helping to organize welcome days for prospective students, new student orientations, and graduation ceremonies.
