Java Developer

What You'll Do

• Designs and develops applications with an eye towards simplicity, reliability, manageability, scalability, extensibility, performance and reusability
• Responsible for Story preparation, development of code, writing automated unit and integration test, getting sign-off from manager, deployment, monitoring and maintenance of code
• Design, implement and launch highly-visible features for our retail platform using Test/Behaviour Driven Development practices and support the operations of the product in production
• Continuously grow his/her skills and value through pair programming and code reviews whenever required
• Practice relentless automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery and DevOps
• Works collaboratively with technical and business team members to develop and maintain business solutions following Agile development principles and practices
• Flexible to be available on call as per project need

What You Know

• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven professional experience is required.
• Strong hands-on development experience on Java 8 & 11
• Hands-on Experience in application/Product Development and Spring (MVC) framework
• Strong working knowledge of SpringBoot - 2.2.6.RELEASE, Gradle 7.6.3, Kafka, IBM MQ or RAbbitMQ
• Strong Working knowledge of RESTful APIs
• Strong Working knowledge of Azure PCF & AKS
• Strong Working experience on Azure Resources (Cosmos, Azure SQL, Azure Blob, Azure Key Vault)
• Strong working knowledge of - DB2 Or Oracle
• Strong working knowledge of one of ORM technologies like Hibernate / IBatis / MyBatis- SFTP
• Knowledge on Apigee, Splunk, Newrelic &Pagerduty

Education

• CS degree or equivalent experience
