Debtors Clerk

A dynamic recruitment company, RPO Recruitment, is seeking a capable and experienced Debtors Clerk to join their clients team. As a Debtors Clerk, you will be responsible for various accounting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Accurately records all incoming payments from customers.

Prepares and sends invoices to customers on time.

Regularly reconciles customer accounts to ensure all payments are accounted for.

Contacts customers to remind them of due payments and handles any payment discrepancies.

Keeps detailed records of all transactions, communications, and payment statuses.

Requirements

• High School Certificate essential
• Have no less than 75% for Accounting
• Fully bilingual. Write and speak Afrikaans and English
• Own transport
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Benefits

• Salary: R72k per year - R84k per year
