Job Description
Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
A Design Release Engineer in the Global Integrated Power Electronics & Integrated Inverter Release & Mechanical Packaging team is responsible for leading the product development team in the definition of requirements, execution of design, and planning of analysis, development, & testing of Integrated Power Electronics. Provides technical direction to the supplier, product development team, and engineering support personnel.
What You'll Do
- Lead mechanical and electrical design teams to define Integrated Power Electronics (IPE) component requirements and designs compliant with BOD/BOM/BOP.
- Lead Program Management and execution of PDT's and program team meetings.
- Complete and review DFMEAs and DRBFMs for all parts / design changes.
- Conduct technical design reviews and initiate applicable drawing reviews.
- Responsible for engagement with advanced teams on IPE design and parts lists development.
