As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in helping to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong background in Virtualized Infrastructures. Previous AWS and GCP cloud experience is a bonus, and future exposure required. You will report to the Director, Software Architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Work with other members of the Cloud Operations team, developers and other stakeholders to ensure cloud environments are secure and stable.
• Work alongside multiple business teams across the globe when security- related events occur or planned outages need to take place.
• Ensure servers are on the latest security patch level.
• Correctly decommission and remove infrastructure as needed.
• In collaboration with senior members of the team, ensure:

o logging and monitoring is set up for the various accounts within the organization's environment.;

o entire infrastructure is properly monitored and alerts (regarding infrastructure interruptions and outages) are addressed in a timely and thorough manner.

• Provide technical support to users by diagnosing and troubleshooting problems related to network and system performance.
• Documenting complex and troubleshooting procedures to help develop effective solutions
• Work directly with cloud support experts (Azure or AWS support) to escalate and resolve issues as needed.
• Collaborate with other Cloud Operations team members to support deployment of new applications and services.
• Assist in Azure Infrastructure Design, Deployment and support.
• Assist in design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure Azure cloud solutions.
• Assist in developing infrastructure as code templates for automated deployment.
• Perform routine, regular audits of the environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in related field
• 5years of overall experience in IT with 2 years of Azure Cloud experience
• Advanced English level (B2+)
• RBAC and IAM configuration management
• Implementing/troubleshoot Network Security Groups
• Group Policy concepts/management.
• Azure DevOps configuration and management
• Mature experience creating/provisioning cloud IaaS solutions
• Moderate experience creating/provisioning PaaS solutions
• TCP/IP Fundamentals
• Patch management experience such as WSUS or SCCM
• Network Peering concepts
• Firewall management.
• Azure Administration Fundamentals
• Azure Policy implementation and remediation (Desired).
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
