ABOUT THE JOB

The Mayor’s Office of Communications is seeking an unpaid, part-time, in-person intern. The intern will experience a fast-paced, dynamic, and professional environment of communications, public and media relations, digital content creation and management. The intern will learn about Mayor Johnston and his initiatives, Denver municipal government and public service. This opportunity is available from September-December 2024 for 15 weeks. This is a part-time internship requiring 16-20 hours per week during normal business hours which are 8:00am – 5:00pm. Hours/schedule are flexible but this position is IN-PERSON.

This internship is a tremendous opportunity for a communications-minded individual to have meaningful involvement within a working communications office for an elected official.
