Manager Network Planning / Strategy

Under the guidance of the Senior Director, the Manager Network Planning / Strategy will help determine Air Transat’s network and fleet — in other words, network strategies and types of aircraft to be used—by integrating different parameters, including market growth, the competition, the network’s economic, technical and operational constraints, slot constraints, connectivity goals, implement and improve processes, operational practices, and fleet sizing

Responsabilities:

• Help determine the strategy and development of the entire network to maximize profitability.
• Monitor the competitive environment and changes in route profitability (revenue and costs).
• Run diagnostics and provide route analysis.
• Evaluate potential areas for growth, such as frequency, scheduling, and types of aircraft; suggest schedule scenarios based on demand and the competitive environment.
• Contribute to the development and optimization of future schedules.
• Optimize schedules based on existing partnerships and assess the value of a future alliance or partnership agreement.
