Want to be part of the site SLT and drive business improvement using lean tools? As the site DBSL you will need to use your influence skills to drive operations and process improvements using a variety of DBS tools. You will be key in ensuring strategic goal deployment objectives are achieved and maintained.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Ability to select, plan and execute various improvement events/projects. (lean tools including kaizen events, Kanban, lean conversion, value stream mapping, heijunka, VRK, etc),
• Campion, improve and maintain OPEX and Goal Deployment objectives.
• Ensure compliance with, and identify and deliver improvements to Environment, Health and Safety.
• Proven track record of carrying out root cause and countermeasures as a result of performance failure, developing improvement plans that continuously improve capacity and cost, acting as an agent for change in driving improvements through the value stream
• Able to influence / lead a team of people to utilize DBS strategy to drive change within all aspects of Redruth operations

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience including:

• Engineering or Business degree or equivalent qualification preferred, relevant experience will be considered (minimum 5 years)
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with a strong customer focus
• Effective Project Management Skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

We offer a competitive salary. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
