Senior Project Manager

The Limoges site with a proven expertise in aseptic filling is currently our Center of Excellence in Biotechnology for European market focused on clinical activities (until phase 3). We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to participate in Limoges' growth!

Reporting to the of Project Management Senior Manager, the Senior Project Manager (SPM) is accountable for determining, proposing, implementing and leading aspects of the portfolio to meet the strategic needs of the Product Development department. They will define project/program requirements, scope and supervise the efforts of SMEs assigned to the project/program. The successful candidate will also have a working knowledge of various aspects of implementing the drug development process in a regulated environment. In addition, they will identify and implement opportunities to improve or optimize project management processes and uphold the financial goals of the project/program assigned.

The role:

• Enable the on-plan delivery of development projects (scope, timeline, budget) within the PD portfolio
• Grow and maintain key partnerships within PD, with other organizations and with partners/customers outside of Catalent
• Effectively communicate on a timely basis with management and other departments within Catalent and customers to ensure clear understanding and acknowledgment of project/program status, risks, actions, and outcomes
• Design, coordinate, and manage the logistical component of development projects in a cross functional capacity
• Employ and improve quantifiable measures to gauge status of the project and ensure that objectives are being achieved from inception to completion in a timely manner
• Manage customer relationships on projects and enable forums for customer and Catalent interactions
• Responsible for the design, coordination, and management of multiple programs at the department level to meet scope and timeline requirements.
• Manage project/program activities throughout lifecycle by effectively utilizing the GATE review process and project team structure.
• Manage staff on projects to ensure resource requirements are met, and constraints identified
• Mentor, train and coach staff in establishing effective studies with appropriate risk management
• Keep updated on regulatory guidelines to ensure programs are current
• Operate under and maintain GMP/GLP conditions as appropriate
• Represent functional area and projects at local, technical, governance, executive and customer meetings
• Communicate and ensure staff awareness and understanding of Catalent strategy, initiatives, expectations, processes, and portfolio status
• Must be able to work extended hours, weekends as needed, especially when problems occur or when deadlines must be met.
• Be able to travel for Customer visit and Catalent workshop or training, if needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The candidate:

• Master or bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration (Marketing), Engineering or related field.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Previous project management experiences in pharmaceutical environment.
• Demonstrated experience dealing with various levels in pharmaceutical and/or manufacturing challenges from development to program launch within an organization and with external customers.
• Highly effective negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolutions skills.
• Superb creation and facilitation of meetings, feedback sessions, and briefings to create consensus among stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and achieve results.
