Associate Vice President

Position Summary

The Associate Vice President Operations, Advising provides leadership and supervision in the operation and management of student advising. Oversees the growth, retention efforts, and quality of student services. Also oversees the maintenance and application of university, programmatical, Department of Education, and accreditation knowledge, policies, and procedures. Leads the Student Advising department and drives leadership culture, outcomes of the team, and growth and development of the team. Strategizes initiatives in alignment with the University and affiliates and is responsible for the integration of new support structures as appropriate.

Essential Functions:

• Provide leadership in long-range planning, departmental process development, problem solving, and staff development for all levels within the department business unit.
• Provide leadership and a unified strategic vision within the department business unit.
• Oversee the budgets and spending for the department business unit.
