The Team: The Fertecon Analysis team is part of the S&P Global Agribusiness business unit and sits in the Fuels, Chemicals and Resource Solutions business line within the Commodity Insights division. For more than 40 years it has been the leading source of market information and analysis on fertilizers and fertilizer raw materials. Fertecon produces a range of short-term and long-term forecasts on supply, demand, trade, cost and prices as well as thought leadership in traditional fertilizer and emerging markets. • Opportunities to meet with market leaders, present at global conferences and be a part of established nitrogen markets as well as the new emerging low-carbon sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with all the Fertilizer Analysis team to maintain existing and create new innovative databases to enhance our research and insights in the nitrogen sector;
  • Conduct research on nitrogen fertilizers and present findings to stakeholders to build and/or influence forecasts;
  • Take ownership of portions of the various nitrogen reports;
  • Attend fertilizer conferences and client meetings to discuss market developments and represent S&P Global Commodity Insights fertilizer analysis to the industry;
  • Participate in webinars presenting analysis on nitrogen fertilizer to clients;

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong presentational and communication skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (PowerPoint, Excel) and wider digital literacy with e.g. Python; knowledge and experience with AI prompting commands an advantage
  • A team player who exhibits a strong willingness to support the team and develop themselves;
  • A questioning, curious and creative mindset with strong attention to detail;
