HR Manager Job Description

As HR manager, your role includes the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies and programs. These must align with organizational goals and objectives. Your main objective is to attract, develop and retain a high-performing workforce. In addition, it must ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Responsibilities of the HR Manager

1.- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and programs in line with organizational goals and objectives.

2.- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the hiring of qualified candidates who fit the company's culture and requirements.

3.- Manage and administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans and leave policies.

4.- Develop and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance appraisals and employee development plans.

5.- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employee relations, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.

6.- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee competencies and promote professional growth.

7.- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including equal employment opportunity.

8.- Manage employee relations, including handling grievances, conducting investigations and resolving disputes.

9.-Oversee the compensation and benefits , ensuring competitiveness and alignment with market and industry standards.

10.-Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, providing them with guidance, training and development opportunities.

11.- Oversee and manage labor contract annualy.

HR Manager Required Skills

1.- Sound knowledge and understanding of HR principles, practices and procedures.

2.- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

3.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization and Union.

4.- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, analyze data and develop solutions.

5.- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

6.- Strong ethical and professional standards, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

7.- Proficient in HRIS systems and other human resources related software applications.

8.- Ability to adapt to change and embrace innovation in HR practices.

9.- Successful track record fostering positive labor relations.

10.- Must be able to read and speak fluent English.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

1.- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

2.- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership position.

3.- Professional HR certification is highly desirable.

4.- In-depth knowledge of employment law, regulations and HR best practices.

5.- Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and programs.

6.- Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team of HR professionals.

7.- In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits programs.

8.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
