Job Description:

  • To increase the penetration of Automotive Aftermarket Products and exceed the sales forecast for the products in your territory.

  • To achieve annual sales operating plans.

  • To drive sales throughout the Transportation Industry by delivering strong head office promotional calendars

  • To identify and prioritise market segment and alternative channel opportunities for Automotive Aftermarket Division Products – (May include Marine & Commercial Vehicle)

  • Prepare and execute annual sales plan.

  • Foster strong relationships with key account contacts at head office level

  • Support the execution of plans through AAD distribution network.

  • To take responsibility for other products/projects as required.

  • To spend 80% of territory time face to face with the end user customer

  • Responsibility for a regional sales territory, which will include overnight travel.

Qualification

  • Higher School Certificate or equivalent

  • Cert III - Paint Technician or Panel Beater Technician Qualification (would be preferred)

  • Strong selling and key account management skills

  • Minimum 2 years in Professional Sales Role

  • Experience in an Industrial Sales Role preferred.

  • Strong and consistent recent sales results

  • Previous supervisory responsibility preferred, but the passion for development of this ability essential

  • High degree of computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel analysis & PowerPoint required.

  • Knowledge of Industrial products or terminology an advantage

  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • Excellent Presentation Skills

  • Strong Listening Skills

  • Attention to detail.

  • Confident manner with internal team and external customers

  • Problem solving ability & resourcefully innovative in order to fulfil customers’ requirements.

Location: Brisbane South, Gold Coast. Queensland, Australia
