Senior QA Engineer

Role Summary

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be identifying the testing scope, objectives and ensuring test coverage and efficiency. You would need a good understanding of the direction the field is taking within the context of Agile teams and DevOps and applied within a business services context. Within this role you’ll be helping to lead and develop future test strategy as part of a fast-paced change program working closely with Senior Engineers. On a day-to-day basis you will work closely with the Development teams and technical leads to help to embed the new approaches and best practice within our development teams

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Strong experience of building, implementing, and directing quality assurance principles across teams to deliver quality outcomes.
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, in a continuous delivery environment
• Experience with the following test automation tools: SOAP UI, Bruno, Cucumber or Gherkin, Selenium
• Knowledge with performance testing tool: Apache JMeter
• CICD tools such as Git, AWS, Jenkins, BitBucket
