Job Duties: Markit North America, Inc. seeks an Application Support Engineer to ensure operational processes in our platforms run smoothly and enable users to conduct their business. Work collaboratively with development teams to handle third-line escalations of technical issues with platforms, including priority assessment, high-quality analysis, and detailed investigations. Implement and monitor system checks for early detection of potential problems and raise the appropriate service outage ticket to initiate the required incident management process, including carrying out business impact analysis to prioritize tasks according to severity and importance.
