What YOU will do

  • Provide technical oversight for all chemical processes in order to optimize process capabilities.
  • Lead all technical aspects of the modernization of chemical process lines & supporting areas.
  • Implement technical and preventative maintenance standards across the site for all chemical processes.
  • Establish budgetary requirements & resource requirements to establish safe, capable, reliable, and repeatable chemical processes.
  • Provide strategic direction for the sites chemical processing department. Analyze site special process needs and provide best possible solutions.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Liaise with team members and management to ensure projects are completed to established compliances.
  • Support the team through technical issues and challenges.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field and at least eight years of progressive experience as Chemical Engineer managing multiple complex projects within a manufacturing environment.
  • Must possess at least 8 years of experience in chemical special processing.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of project management and continuous improvement experience.
  • Must possess at least 2 years of experience in SAP or similar systems.
  • Must possess demonstrable knowledge of chemical processing technologies within the aerospace industry.

The salary range is $148,221.00 to $196,000.00 USD per year. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills).
