Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness Auditor, Lead

Key Role:

Support the client's organization with their Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) activities to achieve client objectives as part of a team. Establish auditable support for financial transaction activity across Program Management Organizations (PMO) and directorates. Provide leadership and technical guidance for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) legislation, meet Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB) Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and to improve Government operations and processes to meet audit readiness. Provide guidance to other departments on the identification and documentation of required actions and policies, conformance tests, and ongoing monitoring issues. Assess risks and develops control processes ensuring federal audit readiness. Comprehend financial management, accounting, and audit principles to support efforts in a wide variety of review and analyses of business processes, systems, internal controls, and transactions impacting financial statements.
