Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Murex Front Office Consultant with extensive knowledge and experience in Murex Front Office operations. The ideal candidate will analyze business processes, configure and test Murex solutions, and ensure that functional requirements are met. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact projects within the capital markets industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business processes and functional requirements to perform gap analysis between existing and required solutions.
  • Drive the delivery of relevant user requirements documentation.
  • Configure and test Murex Front Office to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Liaise with customers to scope, gather, review, and implement their Front Office business/functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with users to test, achieve signoff (UAT), and facilitate system go-live.
  • Work closely with the Stream Lead to manage customer expectations on timelines.
  • Support clients in developing their internal project plans, including identifying key setup and configuration tasks, scope considerations, and timelines.
  • Train users on basic use of the system and new functionalities.
  • Assist in system integration, data migration, and implementation.

Requirements:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Applied Finance, Business, or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the capital markets industry.
  • Expertise in Trade/Order Booking and Pricing, including structured notes issuances, with advanced knowledge of Murex Scripting Language (Pricing/Booking Sequence, Pretrades).
  • Proficiency in Position Monitoring, including the design and implementation of customized simulation views and on-demand reports (e.g., bond analytics, IR and cross-asset sensitivities, effective duration).
  • Expertise in modules such as PL Explain, Performance Attribution, and Benchmarking.
  • Experience with NAV calculations, and market risk modules including MRA and MRB for custom stress testing and VaR analysis.
  • Knowledge of asset classes such as Rates, Fixed Income, ABS, FX, Inflation, Equity derivatives, and commodities.
  • Preference for candidates with prior experience in valuation functions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, focused on providing high-quality service to the client.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of handling priorities and managing business expectations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
