Product Manager - Data Platform

Your key areas of focus

As a Platform Product Manager at Zepz, you’ll join a Data Engineering team, and you’ll take ownership of your team’s overall roadmap, as well as share ownership of the Zepz data platform from ingestion to BI in partnership with your Engineering manager counterpart.

We are growing fast (yes even now) and at a stage where we want to move fast with high stability. So you’ll have to be comfortable with making progress with incomplete or imperfect information.

In your first few months, you’ll:

Help us understand our users and business better by working with engineering to improve data availability, quality and usability. You may also engage on specific data-heavy projects to help solve business problems.

This starts with fully understanding the issue you are trying to solve by having conversations with business users of data, examining analytics and usage patterns of the data platform, and whatever else is required. You’ll then work on designing a solution, hopefully, one that can be implemented iteratively, together with your engineering team, other members of the Data team, and as-needed stakeholders from across the company.
