Operations Manager

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager in the food manufacturing industry to join our client's team in Cape Town. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operations of our client's food manufacturing facility.

In this role, you will play a key role in improving operational efficiencies, implementing process improvements, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and maintaining high-quality standards.

We are looking for a results-driven individual with a strong background in food manufacturing operations. You should have excellent leadership and communication skills, a deep understanding of food safety regulations and best practices, and a proven track record of successfully managing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as an Operations Manager in the food manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of food manufacturing operations and processes
• Demonstrated experience in improving operational efficiencies and implementing process improvements
• In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Degree in Operations Management, Food Science, or related field
