Human Resources Manager

Ware Malcomb is hiring a Human Resources Manager in our Mexico City office!

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing the the day-to-day generalist human resources and payroll functions of the HR Department in Mexico City. The HR Manager will collaborate with the Senior Human Resources Specialist regarding implementation and administration of the following Human Resources areas: legal compliance, payroll, workplace culture, policies, procedures, benefits, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs.

Human Resources Manager Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to all leaders and team members in partnership with the Human Resources department by responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Reviews and assesses efficiencies such as payroll processing, onboarding and offboarding, day-to-day processes, leaves of absence etc.
• Manages the Senior Human Resources Specialist(s) related to payroll processing, benefits and day-to-day functions.
• Advises the Senior Human Resources Specialist(s) on employee relations scenarios.
• Oversees the administration of insurance benefits.
• Partners with the Human Resources Specialist to facilitate company safety programs, including IIPP compliance, team member safety training, and conducting quarterly safety audits.
• Assists with staffing changes as needed in partnership with Business Operations.
• Supports and partners with the Director, Human Resources.
• Supports specialized Mexico Human Resources and payroll projects as assigned.

Human Resources Manager Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years minimum of experience working in human resources with payroll experience in Mexico.
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs, HRIS, Mexico human resources.
• Paycom and Deltek Vantagepoint experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and Spanish.
• The ability to achieve results under tight deadlines is essential.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented with the the ability to prioritize high volume of multiple tasks.
• The ability to positively interface with all team members is essential.
• Ensures confidentiality in all aspects of the Human Resources Department is essential.
