WRTV, The E.W. Scripps Company station in Indianapolis, IN is looking for a Multimedia Journalist / Weathercaster. The MMJ / Weathercaster will be responsible for researching, writing, capturing visual content, and editing stories for multiple platforms. The right candidate will fill-in for meteorologists and present the weather from the studio when needed. You'll further the mission of the station by telling impactful, character-driven stories, being involved in the community, and aligning with the weather team. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Receive assignment or evaluate news leads and news tips to develop story ideas.
