Position Overview:

As the Global Brand Director at Exoticca, you will be at the forefront of shaping and amplifying the brand's identity worldwide, ensuring it resonates deeply with our audience, and aligns with our core values. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive global brand strategies that elevate Exoticca as a leading force in the travel industry, emphasizing our commitment to creating memorable life milestones. This role is critical to the future of Exoticca, demanding strategic vision, creativity, operational excellence and exceptional leadership.

Job Description

As the Brand Director at Exoticca, you will be responsible for leading and driving the overall brand strategy and development. You will work closely with the marketing team and other stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and establish Exoticca as a global leader in the travel industry. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing the brand strategy to drive brand awareness and enhance brand equity
  • Leading the creative direction, including brand identity, visual design, and messaging
  • Overseeing all brand communications and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints
  • Managing and mentoring a team of brand professionals to deliver high-quality brand initiatives
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure brand alignment in product development, marketing campaigns, and customer experience
  • Evaluating market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for brand growth and differentiation

Key Responsibilities:

1. Brand Strategy and Positioning:

- Develop and implement a cohesive and forward-thinking global brand strategy that reinforces Exoticca's unique value proposition.

- Position Exoticca as the premier provider of extraordinary travel experiences, setting us apart in a competitive market.

2. Brand Identity:

- Safeguard and evolve the Exoticca brand identity, ensuring consistency and alignment across all touchpoints and communication channels (BtoC, BtoB, BtoBtoC)

- Manage and enforce brand guidelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold and enhance brand standards, specially in regards to the commercial presence and voice.

3. Customer Engagement:

- Deeply understand our target audience across different regions, leveraging insights to drive customer engagement and loyalty.

- Develop and execute innovative campaigns and initiatives that build emotional connections with our customers, aligning with their aspirations and values.

4. Partnerships and Collaborations:

- Identify and cultivate strategic global partnerships and collaborations that align with Exoticca's brand values and enhance our brand presence.

- Foster relationships with key stakeholders and partners to drive brand growth and visibility.

5. Marketing Communications:

- Oversee the development of compelling marketing materials, advertising campaigns, and digital content that effectively communicate Exoticca's brand story and value proposition.

- Ensure all marketing communications are aligned with the overall brand strategy and resonate with our global target audience.

- Implement full-funnel marketing activation strategies to drive awareness, consideration, and conversion across all stages of the customer journey, from initial interest to repeat engagement.

6. Performance Analysis:

- Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of brand initiatives and campaigns.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

7. Leadership and Team Development:

- Lead and inspire a high-performing brand team, fostering a culture of business growth, creativity, collaboration, and excellence.

- Hire, manage and develop team members, ensuring that the Brand department counts with the suitable skills needed to achieve the company goals.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Required:

- Proven track record of developing and executing successful global brand strategies that drive growth and market differentiation.

- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive cross-functional initiatives.

- Experience in managing and evolving brand identities, with a keen eye for design and attention to detail.

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

- English-speaking and written fluency, equivalent to bilingual level/ mother tongue.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in brand management or a senior marketing role, preferably within the travel or e-commerce industry.

- Passion for travel and a deep understanding of the travel industry landscape.

- Commitment to sustainability and responsible travel practices.

- Experience with digital marketing and e-commerce platforms.

- International experience and a global perspective on brand management.

- Fluency in multiple languages, ideally in Spanish and English.

Key competencies to be successful in this role:

  • Proven experience as a Brand Director or similar role in a fast-paced and competitive industry
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate brand vision into actionable plans
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional creativity and ability to develop innovative brand concepts
  • Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behavior
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus, but not required
