Electrical/Instrumentation Mechanic

The E/I Mechanic supports the pulp and paper manufacturing equipment. The position is a key resource to ensuring our manufacturing operations run efficiently. Additionally, the position requires Electrician skills to ensure all electrical and instrumentation work meets State and Federal Code requirements. Working closely with operations, the E/I Mechanic is responsible for all electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic hardware and software aspects of assigned tasks for electrical / control system components including electronic components, VFDs, motors, solenoids, limit switches, PLC I/O modules, sensors, transmitters, etc. The position will also provide planning, procurement, and documentation activities for the enhancement of electrical and instrumentation maintenance within the facility by working as a team with the Supervisors, Planners, and Operations. In addition, the position will share knowledge with other technicians for maintaining and troubleshooting PLCs, instrumentation, and controls.
