We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned system engineer to manage our current computing infrastructure while designing and implementing our next-generation systems. This role is pivotal as we gear up for the market launch of our revolutionary brain therapies personalized through computerized models. The ideal candidate will ensure our infrastructure is reliable, controlled, flexible, and scalable, while also enhancing and optimizing our current systems. A hands-on approach and extensive experience in system administration, along with a proven track record in designing and implementing advanced computing infrastructures, are essential.

  • Infrastructure Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the existing computing infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve existing computing infrastructure, leveraging new technologies and practices.
    • Implement automation and optimization techniques to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
    • Ensure robust security and compliance with industry regulations, particularly FDA guidelines for medical devices.
    • Perform system administration tasks, including server management, network configuration, and security updates.
    • Mentor and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
  • Design and implement computing future infrastructure:
    • Evaluate the existing infrastructure to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
    • Design the architecture for the future infrastructure, ensuring robustness, flexibility, and scalability.
    • Create a detailed roadmap outlining steps and timelines for transitioning to the new infrastructure.
    • Oversee the deployment of the new infrastructure, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • +5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and system administration, with a proven track record in designing and managing large-scale, high-performance computing environments.
  • Experience in the medical device industry or other regulated environments is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Deep understanding of network architecture, server management, cloud computing, and storage solutions.
    • Experience in virtualization, containerization, and orchestration tools.
    • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
    • Hands-on experience with system administration, including server setup, network configuration, security management, and automation scripting in Linux, Windows, and networking.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and innovate.
  • Commitment to staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • 26 vacation days per year + 24th and 31th of December
