Technical Writer

Your Role:
As a Technical Writer at TradeTracker.com, your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain clear, comprehensive, and user-friendly documentation that supports our products and services. You will be a member of the main product development team, reporting to the Head of Product, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, and product managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Documentation Creation
  • Develop and maintain various types of documentation including tooltips, quick start guides, manuals, help sections, API documentation, release notes, FAQs, walkthroughs, in-app messaging, product tours, and knowledge bases.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easy to understand.
• User Assistance
  • Provide clear and concise documentation to assist users in effectively utilizing our products.
  • Break down complex concepts into simple, user-friendly instructions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Quality Assurance
  • Regularly review and update documentation to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Conduct audits and incorporate feedback from users and internal teams.

Required Skillset:
To excel in this role, you need a combination of experience, technical knowledge, and communication skills.

• Experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably with SaaS platforms.
  • Good understanding of SaaS platforms, including their interfaces, functionalities, and user interactions.
• Writing Skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency across all documentation.
• Technical Proficiency
  • Familiarity with creating various types of technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of documentation tools and methodologies commonly used in the industry.
