The Manager of FP&A manages the FP&A function across multiple departments and functions, supporting the strategic goals of the company through comprehensive and timely planning and analysis. Engaging with internal customers from frontline to senior leader, the manager prepares and communicates real-time intelligence to business leaders and decision makers, identifying trends, flagging issues, and tracking KPI’s. The Manager of FP&A manages a team of functional analysts and specialists, empowering and coaching them to effectively execute the FP&A department plan.

  • Manages Bookings, Revenue, and Cash Flow forecast models
  • Supports annual Budget and Quarterly Revised Forecasts processes
  • Assesses risk and variances to corporate, department, and program budgets
  • Leads FP&A team to produce Monthly Financial Report, Sales Operations Report. and Backlog Reporting Packages
  • Engages with functional leaders across the organization to empower decisions, optimize business, and inspire confidence through process improvement.
  • Receives and routes ad hoc requests for financial reporting and analysis
  • Leverages team to facilitate Department Budget process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years of corporate financial planning & analysis experience.
  • 3 to 5 years finance or accounting experience.
  • Experience with Percent of Completion Accounting often found in construction, engineering consulting, or other project-based environments.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and communicate financial data to non-financial personnel.
  • Thorough understanding of project management best practices.
  • Efficient learner, able to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
