Accountant

We are currently looking for an Accountant to join our hardworking and tightknit team on a 12-month fixed term contract. As a vital member of the Tahiti Finance team, you'll play a key role in collaboration with the other members of the team and in support of the Chief Accountant. Your focus will be on a variety of key processes within the Tahiti agency, financial reports, financial audits, month end closing and assisting with general agency finance functions.

Here is some of what you will be doing:

• Preparing monthly profit and loss and balance sheet reports
• Inventory processing
• Preparing reconciliations, overhead reporting and journals
• Assisting with the preparation of month-end and year-end accounts
• Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
• Maintaining an accurate and complete general ledger
• Other duties as required

This full-time role is based in Auckland, New Zealand. You will have the right to live and work in New Zealand at the time of applying. The successful candidate may be subject to undergo a Police Check and/or Pre-Employment Drug Test.
