About the Role

We are looking for a talented and passionate Software Developer with expertise in C# to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that improve and automate accounting processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using C# and .NET frameworks.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of the applications.
  • Continuously improve existing codebases and contribute to the architectural decisions of new projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our solutions remain competitive.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Software Developer with a strong focus on C# (.NET Framework 4.8 and .NET 5+).
  • Proven skills in developing RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core (ASP.NET Core Web API).
  • In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming and design principles (OOP, SOLID).
  • Familiarity with database technologies (SQL Server).
  • Experience using ORMs (Entity Framework).
  • Competence with source control systems and continuous integration practices (Git, GitHub).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically, critically, and creatively.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills in a distributed environment.
  • Ability to take responsibility, build plans, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Based in Romania.

About the Team

We (the Team Workflows) are a multinational, geo-distributed, cross-functional team consisting of two backend developers (you’ll be the third), two frontend developers, and one QA engineer, led by an engineering manager. We closely collaborate with a product manager and a UX designer. Our team members hail from five different nationalities (Danish, Greek, Iranian, Romanian, Turkish), working together across five cities in three European countries.

We are one of the teams in the Products department with +160 employees.

The recruitment process

1. Initial screening: have a chat with our Talent Acquisition Partner, for about 30 min.

2. First interview: meet our Team Lead for the Workflows team. This interview will be around 60 min.

3. Technical assignment: you’ll be given a technical take-home assignment, to show your technical skills, by writing a clean, testable, working code which follows structured design principles and thought processes.

4. Technical interview: you’ll present your solution, and we’ll dive deeper into the technical aspects of the role for around 90 min with our technical interviewers.

Interviews are ongoing, and if everything goes well, we look forward to welcoming you on board! The preferred starting date is October 1st.
