Senior Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing Accounts Receivable, Inventory management, monthly closing of books, cash flow projections, and financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting principles and practices. The Senior Accounting Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining efficient cash flow management, and supporting strategic decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Recording of Sales: Ensure all sales are correctly synchronized with our website and DEAR inventory system.

· VAT Rate Verification: Check and verify the VAT rate applied on client invoices as per statutory requirements.

· Payment Tracking and Recording: Monitor incoming payments, update records accordingly, and manage banking transactions.

· Overdue Payment Follow-up: Actively follow up with clients on overdue invoices to ensure timely collections.

· Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and contribute to month-end closing procedures.

· Inventory Management: Ensure accurate recording and valuation of Inventory in Dear System and coordinate with the General Manager for implementation of inventory control measures.

· Cash Flow Management: Prepare detail cash flow projections and monitor cash balances to ensure liquidity needs are met.

· Compliance: Support external audits and tax filings by providing necessary documentation.

· Stay updated on accounting regulations and standards and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.

Requirements

· At least 4-5 years of experience.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· Proven experience in accounts receivable, inventory management and financial reporting.

· Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

· Experience with DEAR inventory system or similar inventory system is a plus.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to details.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deal effectively with clients.
