Senior Accounts Payables Specialist

We seek a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist with extensive experience managing AP processes within a multinational setting. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of German, Turkish, or French is a valuable asset.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Process and voucher invoices from vendors in EMEA region and enter into the ERP system, ensuring that all invoices and purchases are in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
• Maintain Master Vendor files
• Generate Purchase Orders and distribute to internal requesters and vendors as requested.
• Obtain and organize appropriate invoice authorizations and approvals for payment
• Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and processing payment runs for assigned legal entities
• Month-End Close responsibilities include preparing AP accruals and estimates for vendor invoices not received
• Assist with P&L analysis and identify and report any discrepancies and adjustments required to the Senior Accountant
• Prepare GL entries as required
• Interact daily with internal and external customers to resolve discrepancies and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and support
• Maintain and reconcile vendor statements and files on a regular basis
• Follow consistent accounting rules and review processes established within the AP organization

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• 3-5+ years of Accounts Payable and other related accounting experience in a similar environment
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred
• Professional use of German, Turkey or French is an advantage
• Professional Microsoft Excel and ERP knowledge
• AP experience in a high volume and complex corporate environment, supporting multiple entities and vendors in multiple locations (both domestic and international)
• Strong knowledge of standard AP policies, procedures, and best practices
• Strong knowledge of VAT rules
• Intercompany, prepaids, accruals and GL knowledge and experience
• High level of discipline, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills
• Highly motivated individual, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, even with frequent interruptions
• Must be able to work as part of a team and be a part of the solution process
• Good knowledge of English
