- Oversee Inter / Intra company transactions, activities, and reconciliations.
- Prioritize and manage timely completion of period close tasks, including preparation of trend analysis, preparation / review of journal entries and various reconciliation.
- Maintain financial records in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Support prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliation and drive timely resolution as needed.
- Prepare compliance reporting and filing of fees, maintain and oversees license renewals.
- Participate in ERP and front-end systems enhancement project as requested.
- Drive efficiencies and implement lean practices.
- Assist completing ad hoc requests.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Corporate Accounting (mix of public and corporate is okay); Wine industry, highly preferred
- Experience in winery operations, as well as associated compliance issues, is a plus
- CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or a business-related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
