As a Principal Customer Success Manager- Automotive (m/f/d), you will own the relationship with a portfolio of large enterprise accounts and act as an expert in your vertical. You will leverage Shippeo’s best ideas, innovations, and capabilities to deliver greater business value to customers. Your goal is to drive adoption, satisfaction, retention, and expansion of Shippeo’s footprint. This role requires a deep understanding of the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Relationship Ownership: Manage a portfolio of strategic customers, driving product adoption, ensuring satisfaction, and expanding business horizons.
  • Strategic Reviews Leadership: Lead Business Reviews to discuss goals, progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Value Realization: Ensure customers maximize their investment value through high adoption rates and proof of value cases. Collaborate with the Sales team to identify expansion opportunities.
  • Long-Term Relationship Building: Develop and maintain lasting relationships with stakeholders, from key operational users to C-suite individuals, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Customer Advocacy: Advocate for customers within the organization, effectively communicating their needs and influencing product enhancements and roadmap decisions.
  • Collaborative Onboarding: Work with sales, product, and technical teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation of our solution.
  • Customer Workshops: Organize workshops to prioritize the product roadmap based on customer needs, empowering them to maximize the value of our platform.
  • Contract Management: Manage the customer’s contract lifecycle, including renewal and key negotiations.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the marketing team to highlight customer success stories.

Requirements

  • Expertise: 8+ years of experience within the automotive sector, focusing on digitalization.
  • Consulting/Professional Services Experience: Prior experience in consulting or professional services is highly desirable.
  • Executive-Level Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to navigate executive-level stakeholders and ensure effective communication and collaboration at the highest organizational levels.
  • Customer Account Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple customer accounts and steer complex, high-pressure projects to successful outcomes.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong skills in these areas, enabling you to unravel complex customer requirements and deliver effective, tailor-made solutions.
  • French and English: fluency in both languages. Additional fluency in German is a major advantage
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the Supply Chain, logistics and/or SaaS industry is a valuable asset.
