Quality Inspector - Mechanical/Composites

SQA Services is a leading Supply Chain and Quality Assurance consulting firm specializing in the management of Supplier Audit, Quality Engineering, Inspection, and Remediation programs in the Aerospace/Defense, Semiconductor, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, and Automotive manufacturing industries. What to expect:

• Conduct source inspection activities at two supplier locations in Wichita, Kansas.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Utilize various inspection methods and tools to verify product integrity and adherence to engineering requirements.

What you will do:

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical and composites components.
• Compile comprehensive inspection reports and sign-off sheets.
• Validate equipment calibration and inspection methodology suitability.
• Review First Article Inspection (FAI) reports for completeness and compliance.
• Ensure shipping documentation accuracy and completeness.

Preferred experience

• Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and inspection plans.
• Familiarity with inspection tools, CMM programs and visual inspection techniques.
• Knowledge of aerospace or automotive industry standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be willing to undergo background check
• Possession of a personal vehicle for transportation between supplier sites.

$29 - $31 an hour

Portal to Portal (P2P) rate for any travel time

Mileage reimbursement at US gov't rate ($0.67 per mile driven). Untaxed.
