We are looking for a Solutions Engineer who can assist us in delivering on our clients' needs. You will be the trusted advisor to our prospects and clients, demonstrating the power of our technology, guiding clients through the configuration and implementation of the system, and advising on how our advanced AI functionality can help them achieve their goals. You will focus on understanding the business outcomes desired by the customer and ensuring our technology achieves those outcomes through effective implementation.

As part of the role, you will work directly with the senior management team of EdgeTier, as well as internal product and engineering teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with potential clients on the best ways to solve their issues using EdgeTier’s advanced technology.
  • Design and implement technical solutions based on client requirements.
  • Lead the implementation of our technology solutions, ensuring they meet client needs and deliver desired outcomes.
  • Provide technical expertise and support during the sales and post-sales process.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concept implementations.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and offer solutions.
  • Work with the product development team to customize solutions.
  • Support post-sales implementation and integration.
  • Provide input into all aspects of ensuring our partners get the most out of our technology, from initial engagement through to post-go-live.
  • Partner with the sales team to formulate and execute a sales strategy.
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of EdgeTier’s technology and be able to demonstrate how it solves individual customer pain points.
  • Build strong relationships with both potential EdgeTier customers as well as internal product and engineering teams.

You would be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • A track record of top performance.
  • 3 years of experience in software development/engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in interacting with customers and advising on technical solutions in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing technology solutions for clients.
  • An ability to adapt quickly in a high-growth start-up environment.
  • Experience in SaaS technology and/or AI.
  • Experience with cloud computing and related technologies and practices.
  • A self-starter mentality.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the contact centre industry a bonus, but not essential.

The interview process:

  1. Call with our Talent Acquisition Team (15-20 mins)
  2. Video call with our Co-Founder & CCO to discuss your experience and skill set from a technical and client interaction perspective. (30-45 mins)
  3. Take home assessment (to complete in your own time).
  4. Final interview - we’ll walk through your task and ask you to share your presentation. (60-80 mins)
  5. Decision!
